A 5 piece band hailing from Derby and a 6 track EP reminding me very much of From Autumn To Ashes. In fact a bit too much in places what with the female vocals included to name one thing.
But that’s not saying that this EP is bad. Far from it actually.
Fallen Friend have a good blend of melody contrasting with a more aggressive sound going here. And it’s this sort of thing that makes ‘Despite You’ good listening.
The songs are done well but the lack of originality lets it down.
