Their was a lot of excitement surrounding this album as this band have in the past produced some great songs. However their new outing ‘Demon Days’ does not live up to this excitement. The album does offer a slightly darker feel fro the last albums more pop orientated release as is suggested with the title ‘Demon Days’. Unfortunately as far as the songs are concerned, there is really only one gem on this title, which is the first single ‘Feel Good Inc’. Luckily this track does some the band some justice as it shows their true potential. The songs are very polished and while its hard to see what the next single will be, there are a few songs which show glimmers of potential like ‘Kids With Guns’. The album itself is easy to listen to from start to finish but it took me a couple of times to get into it and it was hard to overcome the urge to skip back to ‘Feel Good Inc’. This album is worth a listen but doesn’t live up to the bands full potential.
