Lostprophets

Could you have a line up any better?
The gig had a great kick start with the Orange County based band Avenged Sevenfold. M. Shadows seems like a guy you wouldn't want to meet down a dark alley, but he sure sang and shouted impressing the crowd. The songs they played were from their UK debut album 'Waking The Fallen'.  Unfortunately they only did a short set of 5 songs which personally I thought just wasn't enough. They played songs such as ‘Unholy Confessions‘ and ‘Eternal Rest‘. This is a band you definitely have to see live.

Avenged Sevenfold

The Bronx carried on where Avenged Sevenfold had left off. This time I saw them, The Bronx were better. The vocalist is so strange. He goes into the crowd a lot and fools the security guards. At one point he was right in front of me, I couldn't see nothing but him towering over me. They have acquired a new drummer since when I last saw them.
The Lostprophets came on emitting many a scream. They started off with 'We Still Kill The Old Way’' going into 'To Hell We Ride'.
They did a set of thirteen songs mostly off their latest album 'Start Something' but included well known songs from ‘The Fake Sound Of Progress‘ such as the title song and ‘Shinobi Vs Dragon Ninja’ so the crowd would know songs.

Even Though the new album has only been out for just over a week the crowd was already word perfect.
The way Lee Gaze played guitar made it look easy.
They ended with 'Start Something', 'Shinobi Vs Dragon Ninja' and finally 'Burn, Burn' where everyone went crazy. This gig certainly left their fans happy and shows that Lostprophets aren’t going anywhere.
