Don’t be fooled by the opening track ‘Romance’, an intro of Spanish guitars, as this isn’t like the rest of the album. If it says anything at all it’s that this album is going to be something a bit different..
As it moves into ‘Honey, This Mirror Isn’t Big Enough For The Both Of Us’ (Which is the best track of the album) you realise that yes this is different to a lot of the music being released today.

The beauty of this band is that it’s hard to fit into a definite genre. It’s emo, it’s goth, it can be dark, it can be heavy,  you get the picture. Some of this is down to front man Gerard Way’s vocals and lyrics. The emotions in is voice are clear. Just listen to it and you’ll understand.
There’s a lot of hype surrounding this band and although this album is good it won’t change the course of music. But it does show the way in which rock music is turning as people are trying to find an alternative to the mainstream rock.
