A row of 4 coffin shaped chairs and a drum kit in the corner is how the stage was set. Finnish band Apocalyptica entered the arena stage with their chellos. They played two Metallica covers, ‘Seek & Destroy’ and ‘Enter The Sandman’.
They added fast and head banging riffs and beats as the finishing touch. There was no singing which made their music sound even better.
The set seemed choreographed but it added to the excellence of their performance. They came on stage relatively unknown and impressively won over the crowd.
German industrial metallers Rammstien had the whole crowd worked up. Seeing these live is not like seeing just any other band perform. Forget the swinging of microphones and the in between comments, enter Rammstien.

Stage full of fire, explosions and even confetti which was shot from the stage in the colours red, blue and white during Amerika, all added to the awe of this spectacle.
Their set was around two hours long and they even played two encores. It was more of a performance than an ordinary gig.
They wore fire masks, a bow of flames (a bow that shoots arrows by the way…), we even saw Till Lindeman in a chef outfit setting fire to the cooking pot inwhich the keyboardist sat.
Their set consisted of ‘Sonne’, ‘Ich Will’, ‘Du Hast’ and ‘Mein Teil’.
This was not a tour to be missed. No other band can pull off the explosions and fire the way Rammstien do it. Surely worth every minute.
If you ever get the chance you MUST see these live to believe it!
