The backlash starts here. With tortured guitars, schizophrenic vocals and enough feedback to make your ears bleed, Transistor Transistor are the perfect antidote to the current army of radio-friendly fashioncore clones. Black Cat and Sweet William show their knack for creating manic, abrasive yet strangely catchy songs which are twenty times better than anything else out there, while the slower, almost melodic Empathy and A Sinking Ship Full of Optimists prove they’re not just a one-trick pony.
This album is an addictive work of genius – one of the best things you’ll hear all year.
