As Plan A entered the stage, the singer held up a paper telling us he had lost his voice.  It didn’t ruin the set because they had guest singers such as Acey Slade, their bassist and the Jonny Panic singer.  By the end of their set, lots of people who were in the other bands were on the stage helping the guys out.  It was a great way to start the night!
It was hard to take notice of the actual music but it did sound good.  I wonder what their normal sets are like?
Nottingham based Teenage Casket Company were more laid back. Slower and more melodic singing that gave you a nice break before the next two bands.
This was their only night on the bill so they had to show what they could do. These guys tried hard and fitted in well.
By now the room was getting more crowded.  Jonny Panic seemed to have attracted a lot of their fans here tonight. It was energetic music that is worth a listen. I did start to get bored as things seemed to be the same, but the ending songs saved them. (Catch them at Dowload Festival.)
Trashlight Vision opened their set with Allergic To You. It was very energetic punk that got everybody moving.  They moved around the stage a lot, swinging their guitars and going into the crowd.
The Murderdolls are good but to see Acey do a punk band is a nice change. They played songs such as Bored, Chemical Girl, My Fuck U 2 U and a Guns ‘n’ Roses cover It’s So Easy.
By the end, Acey had pulled down big speakers and they ran off for an encore. They came back on for one last song.
These are worth seeing, certainly if you want to see a decent band.
